Patty delivered Liam Kai this morning after more than 30 hours of labor!!! She and baby are both doing amazing and we went to visit today. Casey was in the waiting room during the entire C-section process at 12 am this morning... Casey couldn't sleep, he was so excited for Cesar. I can tell already he is a good baby. Kylie got a little jealous of the attention we were showing Liam. Thank goodness we are waiting a while for another one. Not sure if we could handle a toddler and a newborn. M
It's always me behind the camera. I am trying to remember to get more photos of Kylie and I together. M
Our small group wanted to get together one last time before Mike and Jess move to Georgia. We had a bonfire, grilled up some hot dogs, made smore's, and the kids had a blast getting dirty and throwing sand...oh, wait, Kylie was the only one throwing sand. By the end of the night, we all were so full, dirty, sandy, and smelt amazing :) C & M
Today I watched Ella for Jessica while she got some things packed. The girls had a blast together. The took turns and went down the slide about 50 times, ate some mac n cheese for lunch, gave each other hugs and chased the cats around. I am going to miss these girls playing together so much. I know Kylie is soaking up every minute with her best friend Ella. M
We went to Disneyland because our passes are blocked for the entire summer months,so we wanted to go again and make it a long visit this time. My mom came with us and she bought Kylie a balloon, which made her so happy. Then she took Kylie home and Casey and I stayed to watch the Electrical Parade---my very favorite thing at Disneyland! Here are some shots. M
In my 4 years of Dream Big Events, I have never planned a party with 5 themes. Well, I did it and it turned out better than I thought it would. The little boy turned 4 and he loves Superman, Diego, Construction trucks, Dinosaurs and Fire Trucks. We had Superman and Diego visit the kids, a real fire truck that gave the kids rides, bounce houses, games, a taco bar, pizza, cookies, hamburgers, hot dogs, funnel cakes, sno cones, fresh baked cookies, a lemonade stand, cake and cupcakes with all 5 themes. Not to mention goodie bags, hats for each kid in every theme and so much more. Here are some pics. I love when clients come to me and challenge my creativity. M
Doctor's check up
Here are the stats:
Kylie weighs 20 lbs. 12 ounces....this girl seriously does not gain weight
She is 31 inches tall. She grew 2.5 inches in 3 months. That would explain all of the high water pants.
She is saying 4 words: dada, mama, hi, and no! And knows minimal sign language.
She is now throwing toys and waits to see your reaction. She understand mostly everything we tell her...pick this up, go get your sippy cup, use your spoon, etc. She even knows how to clean!!! My favorite thing to do. I sing the clean up song and she knows exactly what to do. Then when there is nothing to clean up, she will dump everything out and start cleaning it up all over again.
This girl can eat. Her faovrites are mac N cheese, all fruits and veggies, except for avacado, scrambled eggs, turkey and cheese. And her newest love...gold fish crackers.
She is very busy and very fast. She climbs on just about anything in her sight. We love to take her on walks around the neighborhood too. She is starting to snuggle more, usually at night, and loves to sing and dance and perform for all of her grand parents. She is still in love with dogs and is very rough to poor Fiona.
We are so blessed to have her and Casey and I wake up every morning waiting for her to surprise us with something new she can say or do. Thanks to all of our friends and family who pray for her daily.

So Patty is due in less than 3 weeks and we are so excited to meet their little boy, Liam. They made dinner for us Friday night and then invited us to a family baby shower on Sunday. Kylie loves her uncle Cesar and aunt Patty so much. She always laughs at Cesar's craziness and loves to give both of them kisses. M
We have been so busy lately with Kylie, church, house stuff, buying a new car, play dates, dinner dates, birthday parties, baby showers, work and TRAFFIC SCHOOL. Both Casey and I got tickets on the freeway a few months ago at the same place and went to traffic school together today. Grandpa Gary and Grandma lisa watched Kylie for us. I don't recommend spending your entire Saturday listening to a man lecture you on speeding and rolling stop signs. We promise to take pictures the next week of us and our little one. She has her 15 month doctors appointment this Tuesday and I am always curious how long she is, how much she weighs and what the doctor says about her speech!
